Songs in Arabic
Songs in Korean
Directions:
- If you’re Chinese, please listen to both songs in Chinese. If you’re Korean, please listen to both songs in Korean. If you speak Arabic, please listen to both songs in Arabic.
- After listening to both songs in your language. Please write 5 or more sentences in clear English using proper spacing, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar in the Comments Section below about the songs including what the songs are about and how you feel about them.

In the sunshine,a smile burns.
Following the rhythm, a heartbeat soars.
Every joy sings.
Following the teacher dreams blossom.
Pretending to be waiting for me.
Learning English ,my heart feels less lonely.
Thank you for your post, Crystal. Is this a translation of the lyrics? Try to follow the assignment directions here and share what the song is about as well as how you feel about it.
The song has a lively style. It cleverly combines learning English with the California dream, which gives people strength. It makes me think of young people chasing their dreams in a new place.
Strong response here, Ray. Try to respond in 5+ sentences and add more details as well.
Both songs are happy and strong. The second song has more electronic sound and feels more fun.The words are easy and repeat a lot.I like both songs. They make me feel young.
I like the second songs music, but I like the first songs words more. The lyrics say, “Learning English, not lonely. Like stars, we run with the world.” Sometimes English makes me lonely, but I am proud I still study. In America, I need to learn many things. English is the first, and I am happy when I get better every day.
Holly,
The more you learn English, the more people you can communicate with and feel less lonely. I’m glad you’re happy when you notice improvements in your English.
I really like these two songs 🎶. Although I haven’t fully grasped the meaning of the lyrics, many times, when I listen to music, I just enjoy the rhythm and melody 🎼. For example, I can’t understand some classic English songs 🎶, but I always play them repeatedly, HAHA……………
Rita,
I’m glad you enjoy listening to songs in English. You can also sing along with songs to improve your English pronunciation. You can translate the lyrics in your language to help you understand the meaning behind the lyrics as well.
Keep up the good work!
We are learning English, reaching for the skies.
From grammar to slang.every lesson‘s athrill.
dance with English ,let the joy flow .
So let’s break the barriers.
let’s make a new start.
Thank you for sharing here, Mandy. Try to write sentences that are clearer, including the subject first and the verb after.
